Check with the individual orchards on supply and hours of operation before you head up the mountain.

Each apple variety has its own tenative ripening date, but it is all on Mother Nature's time clock (anywhere between late August and the end of November). 

Check to see if reservations are required.

Bring cash.

Wear weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toed shoes are a must. Sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses are highly recommended.
